Since 1994, The Arts Company has been committed to providing unique gifts and works of art to the Upstate of South Carolina.  In late 2010, The Arts Company relocated to the Haywood Mall where we continue to support regional, national, and most importantly local artists.  As the number of local artists grew in 2011, we proudly learned of the talents of more individual artists throughout the Upstate.

We are pleased that as a locally-owned business, we have the support of people like you to continue what we love... providing Unique Gifts & Works of Art.

Please keep The Arts Company in mind for your celebrations and needs for gifts and art throughout 2012.

Thank you kindly for your support
of local businesses and the arts,

Jimmy Wooten
The Arts Company Manager

History of The Arts Company

The Arts Company was created in 1994 and opened in Historic Downtown Seneca, South Carolina, by artists Marcia Langston and Terry Culbreath. In 2003, the business was purchased by the present owners, Warren and Adelaide Carpenter. The dream for both owners was the same, to create and maintain a successful business while raising arts awareness in the community.

The Arts Company has offered for sale the works of over 250 artists and craftspeople that live in the United States and Canada, including over 100 of which are native to the Carolinas. The Arts Company strives to support the efforts of American artist and craftspersons.

In November of 2010, The Arts Company relocated to the upper level of the Haywood Mall in Greenville, South Carolina. The 3,000 square foot gallery features unique gifts and works of art created in hand blown glass, stained glass, pottery, carved and turned wood, metal, and jewelry.

In September 2010, Jimmy moved from Charleston to Greenville to begin working at and transitioning the business from the historic district of Seneca to the upper level of the Haywood Mall in Greenville, SC.  The store celebrated its one year anniversary at this location in early November 2011.
